Frequently Asked Question

Why am I not getting email from certain senders (i.e. Ebay)?
Last Updated 9 years ago

White Cap Internet Solutions servers employ several tools to help you control spam. Some tools do their work in the background. One of the tools that may cause email to be rejected is Greylisting.  When a message is received by our server it is initially rejected. The sending email server will get notice that the message was rejected. At this point spammer servers will give up, not bothering to use resources to resend the message. Most other servers will attempt to send the message a second time. The White Cap Solutions email server will allow the second attempt and subsequent messages to be delivered.

If Greylisting is causing you to miss known good email, then Greylisting can be disabled on your email account. Please open a support ticket and request Greylisting be disabled.
